Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Lucky Dip by weejars
Parallelogram de Crystalline form here

the dearth of drenching rain
we saw black clouds over the mountain

the thirsty ground reprieve
the drooping flowers a cool drink

the storm was upon us
lightning, thunder, rain and bruising hail

Ice bullets
ravaging leaves to shreds
beheading blooms making a brave stand.

    Oh… I went dark too.

I remember getting caught in a rain storm, after seeing it in the distance. You think you will never get warm again.

This is marvellous. You’ve written some beauties today/yesterday.
