Carpe Diem Haiku Kai Sunrise By Chèvrefeuille
Here are the two haiku to work with, both are created by Jane Reichhold
the night is shortened
by your letters on the pillow
here beside me
the road before us
departing clouds bright
with a rising sun
My Fusion
The night is shortened
the rising sun wakens me
pushing through the blinds
My Troiku
The night is shortened
the lengthy day rears its head
I sit on bed’s edge
The rising sun flings
my dreams and they flee like birds
rushed and reticent
Pushing through the blinds
your photograph by the bed
my consolation.
That last one is stuck firm in my head all morning. I think I need to bounce something off it. Would that be okay with you?

Absolutely Misky. I take that as a compliment.
